DR. LINA KOUATLY
Dr. Lina Kouatly established Lunatus after 15 years of senior management and strategy positions with various multinational pharmaceutical companies. Formerly the General Manager of the GCC and Levant regions, she is responsible for building the Novartis Consumer Health business in the region and contributed to its growth, both horizontal and vertical, to establish it as the top player in the OTC market. With Lunatus, she has guided it to success, establishing it among the top SME’s in the region.
Dr. Lina graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Science, progressing to a PhD in pharmaceutical science, and obtaining a Master’s in Business Administration. She is affiliated with numerous professional organizations, is a member of the Board of Directors of several large diversified portfolio GCC companies, a board member at the Dubai Rotary Club, a member at the American, Canadian, and Swiss business councils, and a Harvard Alumna in the Gulf region.
Khaled Mamlouk is the Managing Partner of Lunatus and is responsible for company operations, working closely with the CEO to ensure all activities are aligned with the company vision, mission and the achievement of short and long term goals.
Khaled was part of Senior Management at 3M Corporation, where he worked for 33 years. Khaled is an entrepreneur at heart with vast international experience. He boasts effective leadership skills in Finance, Business Development, Six Sigma, Subsidiary Management, restructuring and turning around under-performing operations, improving Internal and external processes, managing compliance programs, successfully leading, coaching, mentoring, positively influencing teams and fostering high quality outputs.
Dr. Tareq Alkhayyat, the General Manager of Lunatus’ Saudi operations, is responsible for providing leadership to all divisions, and sales and marketing activities. He is also responsible for working on various business functions to establish strategies for future growth of the business in KSA. He has more than 19 years’ experience in pharmaceutical companies.
In the last 16 years, Tareq served in different managerial positions at Hikma & Ferring Pharmaceuticals, including Country Manager for KSA, and Commercial Excellence Manager for the GCC. He has extensive experience in sales management and a proven track record of directing the execution of tactical operating plans, strategic planning, optimizing the efficacy and execution of sales forces and business development.
Mina is leading the marketing department since April 2017. In his role as Marketing Director, Mina is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy across the region, in line with Lunatus’ vision, mission and strategic objectives.
With more than 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, Mina holds a Bachelor degree of Pharmacy from Cairo University – Egypt, as well as a Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Cardiff Metropolitan University – UK and post-graduate studies in digital marketing from Colombia Business School – USA.
In the past years, Mina worked with the team to launch many new products in the Middle East Markets, as well as working on maximizing the current portfolio.
Mohammad Shujaa is responsible for Developing, Implementing and executing Sales strategies in line with Lunatus goals and objectives aiming at driving revenue and business growth. He is also managing all commercial & sales activities in his territory & leading the sales team.
Mohammad Shujaa is having more than 17 years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry with a proven track record of people management, products launch, tender Business, patient safety & Pharmacovigilance.
Nicolas is an experienced Business and People leader with more than 20 years of designing and providing strategic direction and vision to the growth and expansion strategies. During his experience, Nicolas has operated within the Pharmaceutical industries, primarily in Europe, Middle East, Asia, Europe and Africa to provide strategies than encompass business development and expansion, sales, marketing, manufacturing, legal compliance and other operations to achieve/exceed the performance expectations and deliver improved revenues and profitability.
